Have You Ever Seen a Hot Dog on Wheels??

Now most of you can probably answer yes to that question and know exactly what I am talking about.  Last Saturday I asked all four of my kids the same question.  They all answered no and they had no idea what I was talking about.  So, I took them to see the hot dog on wheels:

My son asked me how I knew that the Oscar Mayer Wiener mobile was in town.  My answer was, " Well, its a Dad's job to know when cool things are in town."  I must admit that I thought my answer was really good, but it would have better it I had added, "...and take their kids to them."  I did in fact take my kids to this one.  It didn't take long and now they have seen the hot dog on wheels. 

I can't even pretend to count how many cool things I've known about that I didn't take my kids to.  It is my job to know the cool things and to take my kids to them.  So Dad (this applies to Moms too), find the cool things, get off your...whatever it is you are on...and take your kids to it.

It's the middle of winter and one of our chickens went broody this week.  Is that supposed to happen?  Spring and summer, I can understand, but in the middle of winter.  I don't get it!  If you have chickens, you know what I mean, if you don't have chickens, you probably don't care, but its really not something I want to deal with right now.

This week I put 113 miles on the bike.  You see some interesting things on the bike path, but this week there was really nothing so interesting to share.  The weather was great and there was some good riding.  No rain, just a few cold mornings.  I hate to even say this out load, but its been feeling like spring that last couple of weeks.
